Large-scale document migration between collaboration environments

Planning, implementing, troubleshooting and validating SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migrations involving large volumes of business documents.

Selected experience from a project delivered before Process Wranglers was founded. The organisation is not named and was not a Process Wranglers client.

What was happening

Large volumes of business documents needed to move between enterprise collaboration environments.

What needed to change

A planned migration that kept documents usable and findable, with problems caught and resolved along the way.

Mike worked on planning, implementation, troubleshooting and validation of the migrations.

Why that approach

Validation was planned in from the start, so issues were found during the migration rather than afterwards.
